  • A new term begins! Discover the pupils we helped!

In Uganda, it's not the start of the new school year, strictly speaking, but the beginning of the last term! We have decided to pay school fees gradually, by term, to take care of more children and to prepare for the possibility of surprise closures of certain schools. This summer we collected 400 euros! These donations allowed us to take care of 6 children including 3 girls: Moses, Marion, Elizabeth, Catherine, Derick and Eritie! Our coffers are unfortunately empty and must be filled in the next three months so that we can allow these 6 children to move on to the next level! With luck, we can also consider expanding our support! We already have quite a few children on the waiting list, including Foska, a little girl living with her single mother. Thank you all for your support and donations! Please help us continue our efforts by talking about us around you, sharing our publications and considering making a donation!

  • We already raised 7 donations, i.e. 2 tutions for next years!

We have already raised 146 euros!!! that's 575,000 Ugandan Shillings! Enough to finance two tutions for the future school year! Derick and Marion, two orphans from Kaseeta will be able to go to school next year thanks to our generous donors! A huge thanks to them! But the list of candidates is still long! We still need at least 40,000 shillings to help Catherine too! That's only 10 euros! It goes even faster than we had imagined! But we need long-term donations to be sure to support these students for their entire schooling and not just offer them a year's respite! Please share the pages of the association on the networks, talk about it around you, and consider making a donation! 10 euros per month will allow a child to go to school every year!

  • Help young girls to have access to school

In Uganda, three out of four girls do not have access to education. OmWana has decided to make it one of its priorities to give everyone the same opportunities and to promote access to school for young girls. Today we present to you two candidates: Marion and Catherine from the school of St Joseph, in which the founder had the opportunity to intervene in the past. Both are orphans and only need 60 euros each to go to school next year. Help them by sharing our posts, by talking about the association around you or by making a free, monthly donation or even by deciding to sponsor one of them.

  • First donation!

In less than 24 hours we have already received 70 euros or 270,000 Ugandan shillings! This money already allows us to support a new student, Derick! Derick is an orphan and was chosen because he has repeatedly asked for help with school supplies or food in the village. Our liaison agent, Solomon, has been talking about him for several months and wants to help him. We are very happy to be able to announce to him that we will be able to support his registration in the fourth year of primary school next year! A huge thank you to the two people who gave generously, Manon and Tristan, OmWana's first donors.

  • Flyers and visit card have arrived!

Thanks to a generous printer, K-Print (68), we were able to print flyers and visit cards to make OmWana known around us! The flyers will be distributed and displayed in several stores in the region!
